On Site Consultation - $66 Fee*
The quotation and design process of our project begins with the first meeting to discuss and establish your requirements and expectations. This assists us to familiarize ourselves with the ambience of your home and the personal sense of style that would be most appropriate. We can begin to comprehend the types of materials which would well suit your situation and the feel you are hoping to create with your investment.
We will take digital images and measurements of your site and ask that you have copies of site and house plans available.
Our consultation service includes a site appraisal, consideration & discussion of building requirements and a preliminary cost estimation.
*If dp Carpentry is successful in the tendering process this fee will be deducted from the project cost.
Concept Design - $350
Plan Preparation/Site Analysis - Based on our consultation and consideration of associated building requirements a concept drawing will further develop the ideas and suggest materials. When working to scales we can better gauge the dimensions and provide solutions not necessarily apparent from site.
This service includes: Detailed Quotation, Working Plan with dimensions
Construction Documentation and Specification - $1000
Once you are happy with the direction of the design you can engage us to prepare Construction Documentation from which a contractor can build the design. This includes professional drafting of plans and submission for Permit including Draftsperson, Surveyor, Building Inspector & Council Fees. If dispensation costs apply these are charged accordingly.
Tendering
The tendering process takes 4-6 weeks. Project commencement relies on the contractor's commitments and the ordering time on materials. It is not unusual for the commencement of a project to be determined by the application and acquisition of engineering specifications or Council approval. |
